HIGH TIDE - Olympic Weightlifting
Tues, Wed, Thurs, Sat, Sun
Olympic-style weightlifting (aka weightlifting to actual oly-lifters) consists of the snatch and clean and jerk, which are loaded barbell movements performed in a single lift as heavily as possible. Often mistaken for powerlifting, weightlifting is arguably a lot more technical and requires constant practice, patience, and discipline to master...and even then most people don't master it. BUT half the fun is in trying to get as close to perfection as possible. So in that vein, we run programmed group training sessions 4 days a week for those of you that desire to train with others or just want supervised and structured training to reach your goals.

MUSCLE & STRENGTH

This class is for all levels and abilities and encompasses every aspect of strength training and muscle building including powerlifting, strongman, weightlifting, bodybuilding and a variety of compound movements. You never know what you're going to get, but rest assured your strength levels and physique will improve.

LOW TIDE - Beginners Olympic Weightlifting
Mon, Sat, Sun
As previously mentioned, Olympic Weightlifting is highly technical and we wouldn't recommend you take the self-learning route. Guidance is the best (and really) only way to understand and conquer the movement patterns required to eventually go at it alone. This class is for complete beginners or for those who have had less than 3 months experience.

METCON - metabolic conditioning
Tues, Thurs, Sat
This class is guaranteed to get your heart pumping! Hypertrophy, aerobic exercise, functional training, speed and agility, and sports skill work are all combined in a cardio-type workout. Weight loss? Aerobic capacity? Overall fitness? All will progress!
